The Cross River State Ministry of Tourism, Art and Culture was established in November, 2015 by the Cross River State Government to, among other things; sustain, expand and consolidate her footprints in the Culture and Tourism Network at both National and Global Level. The Ministry has a responsibility to oversee, develop, maintain existing tourism products, harmonize and harness the huge tourism and cultural potentials which adorn the landscape of the State. Its principal focus is to give direction to the tourism aspiration of the Government through policy setting, creativity, coordination and regulation. Also, the minister provides a framework for infrastructure for tourism development.
